◦ Why do you carry Unicel Replacement Elements?

Unicel is the direct manufacture for 90% of the Original Equipment Manufactures.  They are top quality (O.E.M Quality), not cheap replacements.

◦ When should I use a filter cleaner?

Filter cleaners should be used as needed. Filter Cleaners remove sun tan lotion, oil's, etc. from the filter that normal cleaning doesn't remove. We recommend cleaning your filter at least every 3 months.

◦ How can I tell if I need a new filter element or if it needs to be chemically cleaned?

Unicel and Manufacture Filters elements last on average (with good maintenance) 2 years. The cheap filter element replacements last on average 1 year. You can tell a bad filter by the filter pressure going up quick after you clean your filter.

◦ Do you carry above ground pool filters?

Yes, we carry most popular brand above ground filter systems in the "Above Ground Pool" section under products. Above-ground replacement filter cartridges are under the department "Replacement Filter Elements".
